چکیده

The existing form of self-compacting concrete (SCC) comprises a large amount powdered and fine materials. In this study, part the cementitious material was replaced with constant high-volume fly ash, portion aggregates substituted by crumb rubber (CR). Besides that, silica fume (SF) added, hope that implementing new type nanomaterial, loss in mechanical strength due to previous modifications such as rubberization replacement will be prevented. Two variables were found influence constituent/component mix design: SF CR. proportion varies from 0% 10%, while CR 30% volume total river sand, where 55% cement ash. A 13 rubberized SCC samples controlling made, their design produced Design Experiment (DOE) under Response Surface Methodology (RSM). results reveal slight increase properties addition SF. theoretical mathematical models equation for each different also developed after incorporating experimental into software.

Comparative Study on Effects of Fly Ash, Nano Silica and Silica Fume on Properties of Glass Fiber Reinforced Self Compacting Concrete

Self Compacting concrete (SCC) is a flowing concrete that is able to consolidate under its own weight without any need for vibration. The high fluid nature of SCC makes it suitable for placing it in difficult conditions and in sections with congested reinforcement. Use of SCC overcomes the difficulties pertaining to casting conditions and reduces the man power required. Self compacting concrete...

Influence of Silica Fume on the Properties of Self Compacting Concrete

A self-compacting concrete (SCC) is the one that can be placed in the form and can go through obstructions by its own weight and without the need of vibration. Since its first development in Japan in 1988, SCC has gained wider acceptance in Japan, Europe and USA due to its inherent distinct advantages. Although there are visible signs of its gradual acceptance in the North Africa through its li...

Durability Performance of Self Compacting Concrete Incorporating Alccofine and Fly Ash

The cost associated with the application of large volume of cement and synthetic admixtures was one of the major drawbacks of Self Compacting Concrete (SCC), which can be reduced by the use of supplementary cementitious materials (SCM). When the demand of cement reduces, the release of carbon dioxide (CO2) from cement industries will come down, which has a positive impact on global w...

High-performance, High-volume Fly Ash Concrete for Sustainable Development

For a variety of reasons, the concrete construction industry is not sustainable. First, it consumes huge quantities of virgin materials. Second, the principal binder in concrete is portland cement, the production of which is a major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions that are implicated in global warming and climate change. Third, many concrete structures suffer from lack of durability whi...

Recyclability of Concrete Pavement Incorporating High Volume of Fly Ash

Recyclable concrete pavement was made from fly ash and crushed limestone sand and gravel as aggregates so that the concrete pavement could be recycled to raw materials for cement production. With the aim to use as much fly ash as possible for the sustainable development of society, while achieving adequate strength development, pavement concrete having a cement-replacement ratio of 40% by mass ...
